 LabelVision Classic: Technical
Notes
Using the SentinelPro in OS/2 Version
              2.1
By default, OS/2 does not allow two programs to access the parallel
port at the same time. This prevents two LabelVision applications
which use the SentinelPro (e.g., the Designer and Print Program)
from running simultaneously. For example, if you try to test print
a label, you will see a message that a second program tried to use
the parallel port, but it was being used by the first application.

OS/2 does have a setting which allows sharing of parallel ports.
To enable this setting, follow these instructions:

              - Point to the printer object

              - Click Mouse button 2

              - Select the arrow to the right of Open

              - Select Settings

              - Select the Output tab

              - Point to an LPT port icon

              - Double-click

              - Select the Share check box

              - Select OK

              - Point to the title-bar icon

              - Double-click
